About the event
Krampusnacht is a traditional celebration held on December 5th in parts of Europe, most notably the Alpine region, which precedes St. Nicholas Day. It involves a mythical, goat-like demon known as Krampus who, unlike St. Nicholas, punishes misbehaving children by swatting them with birch branches and frightening them.
