The Old Colorado City Christkindlmarket will bring the magic of a traditional German Christmas market to Colorado Springs. With 10 charming wooden vendor huts, the Bank of America Alpenhütte - a cozy heated tent with a stage for nighlty entertainment - twinkling lights around the park, and a joyous atmosphere, the market will draw visitors from near and far to celebrate the season with joy, delicious food, and holiday shopping.

Our Mission

The OCC Christkindlmarket is a new, authentic German holiday market coming to Old Colorado City this December. Building on 25 years of success with Denver’s Christkindlmarket, the German American Chamber of Commerce - Colorado Chapter is bringing this festive tradition to life on a cozy, smaller scale with 10 handcrafted wooden huts, authentic German food, drinks, and cultural entertainment. The event aims to create lasting economic impact and community value. Free and open to all, the market prioritizes local partnerships, including local vendors, artists, and performers. With strong community support, the Christkindlmarket is set to become a cherished holiday tradition in Old Colorado City.

Wander Haus Goods was founded by Jessica, an Air Force veteran whose family spent years in Germany, including two tours to Ramstein. Inspired by Germany’s sustainable lifestyle and frustrated by green-washed products, she began researching better materials and methods.

Starting with handmade earrings, she now creates a variety of goods using non-toxic, responsibly sourced materials. Based in Colorado, Wander Haus blends heritage, creativity, and purpose. Each purchase supports her family and local charities, making every item part of a meaningful mission.

The official design of the inaugural 2025 Old Colorado City Christkindlmarket mug is officially out and it's beautiful! The design was created by Melody Christian, an artist with over 10 years of graphic design experience.

The ball-shaped mug showcases recognizable landmarks from Old Colorado City, along with mountains in the background. Christkind, Nikolaus, and Krampus are all shown on the mugs and are found at Christkindlmarkets in Germany.

This one-of-a-kind mug will be available at the Old Colorado City Christkindlmarket, which opens at Bancroft Park on December 11.
